description: Translate a brand's page into the other languages your store sells in.

When your store has more than one language (**Settings > Languages** in Shopify), each brand gets a **Translations** section. Pick a language and fill in the fields you want to translate:

- **Display name**
- **Short description** and **Description**
- **Page title** and **Meta description**

A field you leave empty shows the main language's text. **Generate with AI** can also write a translation: pick the **Language** in its window ([AI content](/brands/ai-content)).

Translations are sent to Shopify when you save, once the brand has a page. Visitors who switch language on your store then see the translated brand page.

## What stays in the main language

- Brand names and descriptions in the directory, the carousel and the logo widget.
- Product titles on brand pages.
- The blocks' own labels, like "Search brands..." and "Load more products", which are in English.
