Open a brand from the **Brands** page. Changes go live when you click **Save** in the save bar, and a brand with a page has it updated within a few seconds.

## Images

| Field | Where it shows | Files |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Logo** | Directory cards, the brand page, the carousel and the logo widget | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB. A square image works best |
| **Hero image** | The wide banner at the top of the brand page | Up to 10 MB. Aim for about 3:1 |

Images are saved as soon as you upload them, without the save bar, and stored in **Content > Files** in Shopify. **Crop the logo** can trim empty edges or crop to a centered square for the next upload.

## Content

| Field | Where it shows |
| --- | --- |
| **Display name** | The brand's name everywhere on your storefront. It starts as the vendor name |
| **Short description** | Under the name on the brand page, and on directory cards when the block shows descriptions. Up to 300 characters |
| **Description** | The main text of the brand page. Line breaks are kept; other formatting isn't |

## Search engine listing

**Page title** (up to 70 characters) and **Meta description** (up to 170) are the brand page's title and snippet in search results. **URL handle** shows the page's address ([Brand pages](/brands/brand-pages)).

**Generate with AI** next to **Content** or **Search engine listing** drafts these fields ([AI content](/brands/ai-content)).

## Organization

- **Visible on storefront**: off hides the brand everywhere and unpublishes its page.
- **Featured brand**: shows the brand in the [Featured brands](/storefront/featured-brands) carousel.
- **External URL**: adds a **Visit website** link under the brand's description.
